The mission of the ELITE Rugby Foundation is to provide rugby education to young athletes and coaches, and engender confidence and self-esteem on and off the rugby field, particularly to individuals from underserved areas that might not have opportunities to play rugby. We strive to accomplish this mission by granting scholarships to ELITE Rugby Camps to those who would otherwise not be able to afford the opportunity.
ELITE is dedicated to providing our campers with one on one and group coaching from current and past members of the USA Rugby Team . Our coaches carefully construct each day at ELITE to provide campers with the most memorable experience possible.
ELITE aims to give our campers the opportunity to train at premier training facilities througout the United States.
By exposing campers to top level coaching and facilities, we hope to inspire campers to achieve their dreams on and off the rugby field.
Currently, ELITE works with boy's ages 10 to 18 of all skill levels. We ask our athletes to be ambassadors of the sport of rugby by coming to camp with a willingness to learn. Previous campers have gone on to gain numerous accolades in the sport of rugby, but more importantly have left camp with an understanding of how to become successful on and off the rugby field.
At ELITE we have made a commitment to designing and coordinating the finest rugby camp system in the Nation. We are determined to develop the next generation of ELITE rugby players in America.

Coaches
ELITE Rugby Camp USA is dedicated to providing our campers with access to the finest coaching talent available in the United States. Each of our camps include coaching staff and players on the USA Rugby Team.
ELITE Coaches emphasize the correct fundamentals of each facet of rugby. Only, after campers have mastered the correct fundamentals will the coaching staff move forward on to more advanced techniques.
Campers have the opportunity to work one on one with current and past Eagle players and coaches and receive individualized assessments at each camp. ELITE coaches relay information to campers on how to play, practice, train, eat, study and act to become an ELITE athlete.
As one parent recently wrote us, "My son had the opportunity to work with coaches and players I have only read about".

ELITE Training Camp USA
Our premier camp system for is a four-day three night camp for boys ages 10-18 and is located at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California.

ELITE Rugby Camp at Stanford
ELITE at Stanford is held at the prestigious Stueber Rugby Field. Stueber Field is a 3million dollar rugby specific facility and is one of the finest facilities in America.
ELITE Winter Camp - San Diego
The perfect way to prepare for the upcoming season. This intensive two day camp is held at the Little Q in San Diego. The Little Q has hosted numerous national championship matches.
December 19th and 20th, 2011
ELITE Winter Camp - Northern California
This two day clinic will focus on all facets of the game. Led by Matt Sherman and held at University of California Davis, this is a can't miss opportunity.

ELITE Coaches Clinic
At each ELITE camp we will host an ELITE Coaches Clinic. The ELITE Coaches Clinic gives coaches the opportunity to view ELITE Staff working directly with campers and participate in training sessions. Following training session the ELITE staff hosts an hour long workshop outlining techniques and fundamentals for coaches. A question and answer period follows the workshop.
Additionaly, coaches leave the clinic with the ELITE Coaching Handbook. The handbook contains drills, strategies, plays, conditioning techniques and much more.
Lunch and an ELITE Trained t-shirt are providied for coaches who attend.

ELITE Rugby Camp USA Community Outreach
The Elite Rugby Foundation provides rugby education and training to young athletes and coaches, and opportunities to those individuals from underserved areas who might not otherwise have meaningful exposure to rugby.
ELITE operates free rugby clinics for young athletes to educate them about every facet of rugby - from skills and game strategy to the tradition of rugby and sportsmanship. These clinics allow youth to train with international caliber coaches, including past and current members of the U.S. National Team.
We always welcome the opportunity to host a free clinic at your school or clubs location. Please contact us if you would like ELITE to come to your area for a free clinic. Additionally, this page will continually display upcoming free clinics.
In late 2011 ELITE hopes to gain its non-profit status. We aim to porvide 10-15 scholarships to our summer camps throughout the nation.

Andrew Pascale
Andrew is a Junior at Cathedral Catholic High School in Del Mar. Andrew is an outstanding student and has accumulated a 3.8 GPA this quarter. Andrew is currently playing football for Cathedral and played tight end, defensive end and special teams on the team that won the CIF Division III Championship last weekend.
Andrew is also a standout rugby player at Cathedral Catholic. Coaches were very impressed after seeing Andrew at the ELITE camp held at the Olympic Training Center last summer. ELITE Coach, Matt Sherman made a call and Andrew has been invited to the USA Under 20 rugby assembly at University California Santa Barbara this winter. Congratulations Andrew! The ELITE staff wishes you luck at the winter assembly!
Christian Bernard
Christian is an 8th grader at High Tech Middle School in San Diego where he has a 4.0 GPA. Christian is in his fifth year of rugby and plays for the Young Aztec U14 side. Christian wanted to bring rugby to his middle school so he developed a proposal to create and run a touch rugby x-block class open to all middle school students. The proposal was accepted and Christian now has over 30 participants in his rugby class that meet three days a week to learn and enjoy the sport of rugby. Christian is a great example of how an ELITE rugby player carries himself. Way to go Christian!
Dylan Williams
ELITE athlete Dylan Williams is excelling in the fifth grade at Corte Madera School. Dylan is his class representative for Student Council and playing three sports in the fall season; flag football, soccer and cross country. Not only is Dylan the leading scorer on his soccer team, but was awarded the Highest Character Award at his school for showing exemplary character excellence. WAY TO BE ELITE DYLAN!
Daniel Ross
Daniel Ross is a senior at High Tech High in San Diego. Daniel is maintaining a 4.00 GPA while playing rugby for the Young Aztec U19 side. Daniel is truly an ambassador for the sport of rugby. This year he has started a rugby team at his high school and is ASB president for his entire school. Daniel is a great example of an ELITE Athlete.
